逃げたのはGabby's Golden GalでRachel Alexandraはこれを外から見ながらの2番手を追走。3コーナーで前を行くGabby's Golden Galを始末して先頭で直線に入ると、鞍上のBorelは後ろを左右で振り返って追い上げてくる馬がいないことを確認し、持ったままなのに後続がぶっちぎられて公式の結果として20馬身1/4差。
実況が聞き取りやすかったので拾ってみた。出走頭数がこれくらいだと落ち着いて聞き取りやすいんですよね。

CRUISING for Calvin Borel. Back in third Be Fair, in fourth is Flying Spur, followed them by Stone Legacy.
A quarter of mile to go, Rachel Alexandra has now cruise in the lead by over three lengths. Borel looks over his right shoulder. NO DANGER. Over his left shoulder. NO DANGER. She is romping home, coming down towards the final sixteenth. Rachel Alexandra, SHE IS ABSOLUTELY cruising home. At towards the line, Rachel Alexandra, BRILLIANT-WINNER of the Kentucky Oaks.
A massy from in second by Stone Legacy, Flying Spur was in third. But it was a one-horse-race. The FILLY, RACHEL ALEXANDRA, BRILLIANT.

一部にかなり怪しいというかはっきりとすっ飛ばした部分もあります。実況では直線はRachel Alexandraしか出てきていません。要するにそういうレースでしたよと。Derbyの方に出しても良かったんじゃねくらいのもんですな。
Louisville Distaff - Miss Isella
Zenyattaがいなくなったとは言え、Unbridled's Songがまたモンスター牝馬を出してきたのかと思うOne Carolineは出走して注目を集めました。序盤から快足を飛ばして逃げたOne Carolineは先頭のまま直線を向きますが、One Carolineと馬体をぶつけながら内埒を確保したMiss Isellaが競り落として1着。
あれが無ければOne Carolineのレースだったかなと思うが、後ろから来た馬にこじ開けられたのでは言い訳にならないか。
Unbridled Belleはスタート出遅れ。直ぐに巻き返したけど、直線反応無く5着。
American Turf - Orthodox
最低人気のアプセット。去年のBC Juvenile Turfで逃げて7着だった馬とのこと。3歳の今年は初戦を勝つも、Lane's End Sが11着で芝に戻ったTransylvania Sも8着。最低人気も仕方ない実績ですな、こりゃ。
人気のStormaloryはバックストレッチで競走中止し、安楽死処置となりました。
Alysheba - Bullsbay
Cool Coal ManにMambo in Seattle、Macho Againと楽しいメンバーが揃いましたが、勝ったのはBullsbay。
